GOD IS....

Forgiving God – “O LORD our God, you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoing. Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the LORD our God is holy!” (Psalm 99:8-9)

God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ – “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places…” (Ephesians 1:3)

God my Rock, my Shield, my Stronghold, my Fortress, my Deliverer, the Horn of my Salvation – “I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuse, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:1-2)

God of Abraham – “The princes of the people gather as the peoples of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.” (Psalm 47:9)

God of All Comfort – “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort…” (2 Corinthians 3:1)

God of All Grace – “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be the dominion forever and ever Amen!” (1 Peter 5:10-11)

God of David – “Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, ‘Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father—behold, the LORD will bring a plague on your people..’ ” (2 Chronicles 21:12, 14)

God of Faithfulness – “The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and iniquity, just and upright is he.” (Deuteronomy 32:4)

God of Glory – “The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters.” (Psalm 29:3)

God of gods – “For the Lord you God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribes.” (Deuteronomy 10:17)

God of Heaven and God of Earth – “…that I may make you swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and God of earth…” (Genesis 24:3a)

God of Hope – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans 15:13)

God of Hosts – “Turn again, O God of hosts! Look down from heaven and see; have regard for this vine, the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself.” (Psalm 80:14-15)

God of Israel – “Blessed by the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen!” (Psalm 41:13)

God 0f Jacob – “The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” (Psalm 46:11)

God of Justice – “Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. The Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.” (Isaiah 30:18)

God of Knowledge – “Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.” (1 Samuel 2:3)

God of Love and Peace – “Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.” (2 Corinthians 13:11)

God of my Life – “By day the LORD commands His steadfast love, and at night His song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.” (Psalm 42:8)

God of my Righteousness – “Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!” (Psalm 4:1)

God of my Salvation – “The LORD lives, and blessed by my rock and exalted be the God of my salvation.” (Psalm 18:46) “Lead me in your truth and teach me. For you are the God of my Salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” (Psalm 25:5)

God of Peace – “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you” (Romans 16:20)

God of Seeing – “So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are the God of seeing.’ ” (Genesis 16:13)

God of the Jews, God of the Gentiles – “Or is God of the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also since God is one. He will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.” (Romans 8:29-30)

God of the Spirits of All Flesh – “And they fell on their faces and said, ‘O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with the whole congregation?’ ” (Deuteronomy 10:17)

God Who Establishes Us with You in Christ – “And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put His seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee (down-payment).” (2 Corinthians 1:21-22)

God Who Executes Judgment – “But it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.” (Psalm 75:7)

God Who Gives the Growth – “So neither He who plants or he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:7)

God Who Made the World – “The God, who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man.” (Acts 17:24)

God Who Makes Everything – “As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.” (Ecclesiastes 11:5)

God Who Raises the Dead – “Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.” (2 Corinthians 1:9)

God, our God Forever and Ever – “That you may tell the next generation that this is God, our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever.” (Psalm 48:12)
